Though I do agree with you that teen sex education is important, these girls knew exactly what they were doing. A former senior, who was pregnant was on TV the other day, she said the girls approached her to say how lucky she was inspite of knowing the problems with being a teen momAnuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00722078605063216829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1745898500925564073.post-39583222866329911642008-06-27T09:28:00.000+05:302008-06-27T09:28:00.000+05:30Ya well that's another way of looking at it Tys......Ya well that's another way of looking at it Tys...n welcome :)SMMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04322627347633569930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1745898500925564073.post-83223014081694341262008-06-26T23:37:00.000+05:302008-06-26T23:37:00.000+05:30what about the children of these teens?...the prob...what about the children of these teens?...the problem with an issue like this is that there never is black and white solution...at that age, everything seems doable...but if these children have security, comforts and a chance to be absorbed into the prevalent society , then , i feel, things are okay.

iam all for making a statement but it should not be done with another life that has nothing to do this...somehow that doesnt feel rite..but kudos to the town that is taking steps to ensure the babies are looked after...maybe thats something for these teens to look into...

parents have this tendency to surprise us sometimesTys on Icehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09718530428063102986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1745898500925564073.post-41466131004565774572008-06-26T09:50:00.000+05:302008-06-26T09:50:00.000+05:30Thnx keshi :)Thnx keshi :)SMMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04322627347633569930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1745898500925564073.post-17296929619885449782008-06-26T09:36:00.000+05:302008-06-26T09:36:00.000+05:30I totally agree with ya SMM! What I'm wondering is why the interest in the pact and not focus on the actual issue as I see it - i,e. on educating the teenagers on practising safe sex and as Keshi said, he responsibilities of being young unwed teenage parents. It sounds very hunky-dory for a bunch of 16 year olds to say, oh yeah let's have babies and raise them together. But after 3 am feeds and little money and not much education, the bubble will definitely burst.

Besides don't the twon people have some responsibility toward teaching their children on practicing safe sex. Yes I know, it is very common there, but other states advocate the use of contraceptives, unlike this town where the people are staunchly against the use of contraceptives.SMMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04322627347633569930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1745898500925564073.post-19033268131591304042008-06-25T18:51:00.000+05:302008-06-25T18:51:00.000+05:30Just asking--why this interest in Massachusets?But...Just asking--why this interest in Massachusets?
But shocking stats.Preeti Shenoyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01626823872300694608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1745898500925564073.post-20500197441521758072008-06-25T07:38:00.000+05:302008-06-25T07:38:00.000+05:30I guess teenagres nowadays think getting pregz is ...I guess teenagres nowadays think getting pregz is a fashion.
