Can Pimples be a Ground for Divorce?

I read this article today. A couple got divorced because the husband objected to his wife's acne. That got me thinking.

Can pimples really be a valid ground for a divorce? Then would men's beer/pot bellies, farts and burps also constitute a ground for divorce?

A few more such grounds:

1. That the spouse's dandruff has repulsed and nauseated the Petitioner.

2. That the spouse's snoring has caused immense pain and grief to the Petitioner who as a result of foregoing sleep for the past _ years has now become an insomniac.

3. That the spouse's disgusting habit of scratching his personal areas/ picking his nose in public has caused frequent embarrassment to the Petitioner who has become a laughing stock in society and is now seeking a divorce on such ground.

Anymore such grounds people?

... excessive nagging... in public or in private!!!

..... or mebbe the spouse is a spendthrift shopper!!

....discussing private stuff with his/her pals!!

... not doing sexual favors to the parter....!!

ACNE is definitely not any "cool" enough ground for breaking up.

omg, what kind of reasons is that, how about the dude snoring, or the amount of hairs he has everywhere (chest,nose, back, ears) compare to the few he s keeping while getting older, lack of ability to do the choirs (press button on for washing machine ;), using toilet seat at his own disposal whoever comes after him ;)
Jeezzz i can t believe such people who divorce for pimples, it s not like it can t be treated, did she have them before getting married?
Did he have gain cause for that?

Arjun: There is an old case where excessive nagging did constitute a ground btw and qualified as mental harassment and torture - but excessive in that case was seriously excessive. Reminding one to get the water every night does not constitute excessive nagging :P

Well Keshi...I have heard that in the US people get divorced at the drop of a hat. But I wonder if any if them got divorced because of pimple :P

But yeah makes me wonder is marriage such a weak institution that it can break up on such a flimsy ground? What if the guy developed a pot belly after 5 years? Would that constitute a ground for divorce? Or if the wife lost her prefect 10 figure after childbirth?

This is certainly the strangest reason I've heard, but there are lots of pretty shallow people in the world. I wonder if sometimes things like this aren't more common than we think and this guy just wasn't clever enough to say something like "we've grown apart."

Divorce is pretty common everywhere now SMM, not only in the US. Even in India and SL. I hv many DESI friends who got a divorce recently. Sadly :(

It all depends wut their Marriage was first based upon. If it was based on just getting married for the heck of it, yeah any shallow reason wud make em snap. But if there was real love, nothing can separate 2 ppl. Thats wut I believe :)

However, assuming this was an arranged marriage, can they have actually gone ahead and gotten married without the guy having noticed that the girl had pimples all along

Keshi, I totally agree. I fail to understand how some people just look at a photo and agree to get married, but in certain areas, even today girls really don't have much of a say in choice of the groom.
